Mala Elements was founded by Australian expat Debbie Amelsvoort who has lived in Bali with her young daughter since 2011. With an extensive background in arts, hospitality and charity work, Debbie has a deep affinity & admiration for the culture and people of the island.
Mala Elements abides by strict fair trade policies. All of our artisans are paid fairly for each piece they create. The stronger the demand, the more direct impact Mala Elements customers are having on on improving the livelihoods of each and every person involved in the journey.

All our materials are hand selected from a number of local suppliers. Mala Elements does not import any products from outside of Indonesia.
